Yosemite Valley Float

Raft Yosemite Valley and float through one of nature’s wonders. For a brief window each summer the Merced River reaches a water level that creates a 3-mile self guided rafting float through Yosemite Valley.

Rafts can be rented at the Curry Village Recreation Center. Rafts hold four adults and are equipped with paddles and the mandatory personal floatation devices. The rental fee covers one three-mile trip down the river, personal flotation devices for each person, two paddles and return trip by shuttle to the Curry Village Recreation Center. Rafts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not accepted.
